Question:

From Louisiana, USA:

I am 17 and weigh the required amount to give blood. My school is having a blood drive on Monday. Will they take my blood even though I am hypoglycemic? And, if I can, would it effect me worse then a regular person since it might make me pass out or be weaker?

Answer:

The folks running the blood drive will be able to address all of your questions. I suspect you will be able to give without any problems.
