The Med-Safe Insulin Syringe and Lancet Disposal System is an easy to use container that easily accommodates syringes, lancets and pen needles. Rather than forcing a syringe into a small hole, as is typical of most other sharps containers, syringes are laid on their side in an opening on either side of the top of the Disposal System. Sliding the center handle safely drops the syringe inside the container. The Disposal System holds approximately 100 syringes and lancets. When full, the inside container is separated from the outside cover and is disposed of. Additional inside containers cost US$8.95 for three (plus US$3.50 shipping) from the manufacturer.
